So, here is my day.

Woke up after a rubbish night’s sleep.

Realised I had a migraine.

Took pills.

Went back to bed.

Woke up, groggy and shaky.

Went to do an event.

Read stories, talked about stories and had a thoroughly lovely time, despite feeling not so perfect (thanks to all the lovely people who came to Congleton Library and made me feel very welcome).

Got home.

Took more pills.

Wrote this blog post.

And now I’m off to teach.

See – us writers aren’t whimps. We’re Well ‘ard.
